Terms of use
apply.mt is a job portal for Malta & Gozo, run by Aftermath Ltd (company registration C110654, VAT MT31570511, 34 Mosta Road, St Paul’s Bay, Malta). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.
1. What apply.mt does
Companies publish jobs and manage the people who apply. Job seekers keep one profile, find jobs and apply. Milo, our assistant, suggests matches between jobs and people. apply.mt is not the employer of anyone who applies through it, and does not guarantee that a job will be filled or that an application will succeed.
2. For job seekers
Creating a profile, searching and applying is free. A company sees your profile when you apply to one of its jobs. You can also choose, in your profile settings, to let companies find you in Milo’s suggestions; you can change that at any time.
3. Your account
- Give true details and keep them up to date. One person per account.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you register a company, you confirm you are allowed to act for it.
4. Rules for jobs
- Jobs must be real, open and in line with Maltese employment law, including fair, non-discriminatory wording.
- State the pay honestly when you give it. Never ask candidates to pay to apply or to be hired.
- Use applicants’ details only to recruit for the job they applied to.
5. Content and conduct
Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, abusive or that you have no right to share, and do not scrape the site, send spam or try to get around its security. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.
6. Price
Registering a company and posting jobs is free. If we ever add paid features, we will tell you the price before you use them, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
7. Milo and matching
Match scores and suggestions are automated aids. Hiring decisions are always made by the company, not by apply.mt or Milo.
8. Liability
We work to keep apply.mt accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We are not responsible for what companies or candidates say or do, or for decisions they make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hello@apply.mt. See the privacy policy for what happens to your data.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will show the date at the top; important changes are emailed to registered users. These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction.
